Dr. John Paolo Rivera

Dr. Rivera, a distinguished economist and educator, is renowned for his extensive research in development economics, management, entrepreneurship, and tourism planning. With a stellar record at international and local conferences, he’s recognized for insightful contributions to the field. As an educator, Dr. Rivera imparts knowledge at all academic levels and serves as OIC Executive Director at the Asian Institute of Management – Dr. Andrew L. Tan Center for Tourism. Additionally, he actively engages in research and consultancy services, contributing to both private and public sectors. Holding a Ph.D. in Economics from De La Salle University, Dr. Rivera is the President and Chief Economist at Oikonomia Advisory & Research, Inc., influencing economic discourse and championing sustainable business practices.

Ms. Mai Marcelo

Ms. Marcelo currently serves as the Head of Customer Intelligence at Globe Telecom, Inc. In her role, she manages and oversees projects that support the insighting needs of the entire organization. Her leadership in cross-industry research, spanning telecom, healthcare, and media, informs key decisions. With roles as Director at Globe Telecom, Consumer Insights Manager at Unilab, Head of Qualitative Fundamentals Research at ABS-CBN, and Research Manager at Trends-MBL (now Kantar) Mai has shaped brand strategies by deeply understanding consumers. With her rich background, Mai Marcelo brings a unique
