FAQs

Why donate?

Every donation supports our mission to work with schools, universities, and other organizations to help protect the natural environment, combat the climate crisis, and achieve well-being and equity for all through sustainability education.

By working directly with education leaders and teachers in schools, we support students about sustainability education. Students then go home and teach what they learned to their parents and other family members and create positive changes in the family’s values, attitudes, and behaviors towards sustainability. Schools can also mobilize public opinion to push key leaders in societies to take bold and sustainable actions to address the climate crisis, environmental degradation, and inequality.

Education leaders, teachers, children, and youth can clearly be powerful drivers of social transformation that we need today.

Your donation can help create school communities in which children, families, and educators are committed to creating a better, more equitable, and more sustainable future.

Your donation to PSE will go to the following worthy projects:

  • Sustainability Education for All provides teachers and education leaders living or working in developing countries with reduced fees in PSE conferences and professional development courses on sustainability education.
  • Education is Hope Philippines is the scholarship program in John Dewey School for Children that provides free basic education and financial support to JDSC scholars who came from low-income families. Please check out this page for more information: Education is Hope.

How can I donate?

PSE and JDSC work tirelessly to uphold its aim to be good stewards of resources entrusted to us to benefit children, families, teachers, and education leaders as we help develop sustainability education in schools, universities, and other organizations. We encourage the public to give through credit card or bank deposit instead of straight car donations to minimize fraud and other security risks. We encourage a certain minimum amount for one-off donations as banks charge us handling fees, which reduce the impact and benefit of smaller amounts for the service we provide the communities.

Rest assured that all information collected online is protected and treated with utmost confidentiality, and processing follow strict protocol on data security.
