Partnerships for Sustainability Education (PSE) has its roots in John Dewey School for Children (JDSC).

PSE was conceptualized in 2019 when the entire JDSC community embarked on a project on climate change. Through project-based learning, students and teachers were made to understand that addressing the climate crisis would require a fundamental change in people’s lifestyles, thinking and decision-making. We understood then that we needed to unite everyone, including schools and universities, to take action to build a sustainable future for the environment and people.

Thus, PSE was born.

United in helping others create a sustainable future

When you participate in any of our events, you give support to our work in schools, universities, and other organizations as we protect the natural environment, help solve the climate crisis, and achieve well-being and equity for all through sustainability education.

Your donation to PSE will go to the following worthy projects:

  • Sustainability Education for All provides participants living or working in developing countries with reduced fees in PSE conferences.
  • Education is Hope Philippines is the scholarship program in JDSC that provides free basic education and financial support to JDSC scholars who come from low-income families.
