THE EMOTIONAL HOOK

Every Young Person Has Something to Say.

Most young people are told to wait—wait until they’re older, wait until they’re more experienced, wait until someone hands them the microphone. Speak Up & Lead Global doesn’t wait.

This program trains young people to become confident communicators and responsible leaders — and then puts them on real stages, at real regional and international events.

In partnership with John Dewey School for Children (JDSC), integrating leadership, sustainability, and character development into everything they do to prepare leaders for tomorrow.

Everything you need to know about the Speak Up & Lead Global journey.

Who can apply?

Young people from the Philippines and other countries, from schools, universities, youth organizations, and communities. Placement into Beginning, Developing, or Emerging Leaders tracks is based on age, maturity, readiness, and experience.

Does my child need prior public-speaking experience?

No — the Beginning Leaders track is designed for those just starting to build confidence and self-expression. Each track meets participants where they are.

What does the program cost, and is funding or scholarship support available?

[To be confirmed — flagging as essential to answer before publishing, as cost is typically a top concern for parents evaluating youth programs.]

Will my child actually get to speak at an event, or is this just training?

Outstanding participants are selected to emcee or speak at real PSE regional and international platforms, such as Global Dialogue and the Global Summit on Sustainability Leadership & Action. Selection is based on readiness and program performance.

How long is the program?

[To be confirmed with program team — likely spans multiple sessions across the Learn, Speak, Lead, and Connect stages; confirm exact duration and schedule.]
